TIG Timeline
A glimpse into our past
2001

Start of TIG in Melbourne
What started in Tim’s house in Malvern with two mates – Tim Gullifer and Troy Martin – became the foundation of TIG Freight Management.
2003

First employee, now current CEO Sash
Sash Vodiloski came on board as TIG’s first employee, marking the start of our leadership journey.
2003

First official office
TIG opened its first proper office in East Malvern, with Tim, Troy and Sash building the business side-by-side.
2007

Team expansion & Office upgrade
We expanded to a larger East Malvern office as the team grew to seven, bringing Craig Geddes into the fold.
2011

Expansion into Sydney
TIG entered the Sydney market through RossFreight in Villawood, with Craig Geddes kicking things off as a one-man team.
2012

The launch of Openfreight
Our first major technology step, OpenFreight was launched, bringing automation to freight management.
2013

Expansion into Brisbane
We opened our first Brisbane office in Hendra, growing our national footprint.
2013

TrackMyParcel
TrackMyParcel went live, giving customers real-time tracking visibility for the first time.
2017

Partner program launched
We introduced our Partner Program, expanding how customers and industry partners work with TIG.
2022

Board & CEO appointed
A new board structure and CEO were appointed, setting the stage for TIG’s next phase of growth.
2024

Expansion into Adelaide
Our Adelaide office opened in Wayville, continuing our national expansion.
2025

Open360 launched
The launch of Open360, the next evolution in freight software powered by TIG.
